Pou Rawiwan
Bears, Children, and the Rhythm of Seasons — A Realm of Childhood’s Pure Stories
Pou Rawiwan (Rawiwan Channetr), an artist from Thailand, captures the innocence and warm memories of childhood on canvas. Her signature motifs of white bears and children create fairy-tale-like scenes within everyday landscapes, inviting viewers to step momentarily out of reality and into the imagination of youth. Working freely across watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media, her pieces are characterized by bright, cheerful colors and lyrical compositions. From the blue sea and cherry blossom fields to cozy winter nights by the fireplace, each scene becomes a story preserved on canvas. Between 2021 and 2023, she actively participated in major group exhibitions such as River City Bangkok, Mango Art Festival, and Hotel Art Fair, and expanded her artistic practice through an Artist-in-Residence program (2021–2022). Her YOU & ME, a Journey Together series, depicting the relationship between bears and children, explores themes of love, protection, and companionship, receiving widespread acclaim. Pou Rawiwan does more than paint; she rekindles the warm memories everyone keeps in their hearts. Standing before her works, one rediscovers the pure smile once forgotten.
