Green House (2024)

“Greenhouse” is a fantastical reinterpretation of the greenhouse as a space of life and protection. The pastel-colored girl, wearing rabbit ears, exists somewhere on the border between human and animal, reality and imagination. The small flower she holds symbolizes the purity and hope that must be protected, while the surrounding vibrant plants and freely flying birds metaphorically represent the sustainability and bond of that life. The work ultimately asks the viewer: “How well are we protecting our small flower, our precious relationships, and nature?”
