As the title “Mom!” suggests, this work is an abstract expression of the deep and warm bond between a mother and child. The two figures, rendered in a unique texture that resembles woven straw or wood, embrace each other, forming a secure barrier of protection. Illuminated softly against a dark background, the luminous forms quietly and solemnly depict the fundamental, unchanging power of maternal love.
