Pure mind (2023)

This artwork interprets the theme of ‘Pure mind’ using Oriental symbolism and a surreal composition. Traditional temple structures are seen soaring toward the sky, perched atop a giant eyeball or the back of a turtle, expressing a yearning for spiritual enlightenment or mental values over the material world. The ‘lotus flower’ and ‘turtle’ symbolize purity, rebirth, and longevity in Buddhist and Asian cultures. Through these elements, the artist fantastically illustrates the desperate wish to maintain a ‘pure mind’ that remains unshaken amidst a chaotic world.
